New Update.

Talked to joyce once again.. and she said that everything she had done before was over the phone and that this time she will be submitting the actually paperwork for approval. Whatever it takes. So I am asking for prayers/vibes/good thoughts etc that I have some great news in the next couple of days. I will be calling tricare and checking online daily till I hear something So you all will know as soon as I do. Unfortunately I more than likely won't get to have my original surgery date. But as long as I get the surgery that is the important thing right!!

Well, I'm glad she's going to submit the paperwork now, but I cant help but wonder why she didn't in the first place? This surgery is such an iffy thing for insurance to pay for already, why didnt everything you've had done and all your info get sent? Sorry, but I'd be pretty ticked... I'VE WORKED AT HEALTHSOUTH IN THEIR INSURANCE DEPARTMENT & NEVER HAVE I EVER GOTTEN AN APPROVAL OR DENIAL WITHOUT PAPERWORK. EVERYTHING MUST BE IN WRITING ... UHHH - DA-UHHHH ... WHAT INSURANCE COMPANY IS GOING TO TAKE ON THE LIABILITY OF OK'ING A PROCEDURE WITH RISKS TO THE PATIENT WITHOUT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE APPROVING? THE FISH SMELLS A WEEK OLD HERE! SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE IS TRYING TO "CHB". NOT TO WORRY, IF SHE SUBMITS EVERYTHING, YOU'LL GET APPROVED.
