possible relocation to Greenville area from Atlanta

Help! I need some quick pointers on house hunting in Greenville-Spartanburg area Might be relocating to this area from Atlanta (Texas native) I know nothing about SC except for the coast line areas. Coming in to town on Sunday to just look around. Would love to find a turn of the century updated charming house. Any ideas on some good areas to look around? What should I be sure I get to see? I really don't have advise. We haven't been here long either just wanted to welcome a fellow Texas native!! I'm from Austin. While I can't give you any insight into the area real estate; I can tell you that the people around here are just AMASING! From all the places I have lived I have yet to meet anyone as nice as the people around here. I really hope you find what you are looking for, Good Luck!!

Greenville is a nice place. We lived in Simpsonville just outside of Greenville for a year. You could try Realtor.com for a housing search. My aunt and uncle live in Greenville in the downtown section. Their house was built about 80 years ago, and the neighborhood is great. Lots of hills, trees, and sidewalks. this is the street that they live on Woodvale Ave Greenville, SC Sorry I don't have directions, have never driven there myself, just as a passenger. Hey Judy, I live in Boiling Springs (just on the other side of 85 from Spartanburg). I LOVE the area...you can see the mountains driving down Hwy 9!! There are a lot of reasonably priced houses in this area, and a lot of new subdivisions. I work in Greenville, so I have about a 35 minute drive to work everyday, but nothing like Atlanta traffic!!
