OT Kids can say the darndest things

Sorry to go off topic though ihave to just tell someone. My daughter amases me more everyday. Things have been REALLY REALLY tight for hubby and I since we took orders here. We took a HUGE cut in pay and it's been kicking our butts. Doesn't help that this time of year not only do we have the holidays but our kids' bdays as well. I felt bad enough that we couldn't do anything for my daughter's bday let alone get her anything, but she took it all in stride. We had just enough to take her to see Harry Potter ( she is a huge fan) She loved it. But now we are trying to figure out what we are going to do for christmas. Today she brought me her piggy bank and said " mommy I have already had al ot of santa's My baby brother needs one. Let him have my presents instead.' Of course I'm not going to get him something and not her. But just the fact that she was willing to do that shows me what a great kids she really is. Guess I am doing something right with her huh LOL .. I'll stop rambling now I just had to tell someone about my lil angel. She is just too sweet!

THAT WAS A WONDERFUL, GIVING GESTURE FOR ONE SO YOUNG! SHE CERTAINLY IS VERY SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!! KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT FINANCES ... WE'VE BEEN THE SAME WAY EVER SINCE I HAD TO QUIT WORK LAST APRIL TO HELP CARE FOR MY MOM WHO HAS HAD STROKES. BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT? EVEN SO, WE'VE NEVER SUFFERED ... ALWAYS HAVE FOOD ... ENOUGH TO DO SOMETHING LIKE OUR THRUSDAY NIGHT EVENINGS ... THE GOOD LORD TRULY FINDS AMAZING WAYS FOR US TO GET THROUGH TOUGH TIMES. IT'S TAKEN ME DECADES TO LEARN THIS LESSON ... MONEY IS THE LEAST IMPORTANT THING ONE SHOULD WORRY ABOUT ... SOMEHOW YOU ALWAYS HAVE "JUST ENOUGH" ... &, WHEN YOU FIND YOU HAVE A LITTLE EXTRA, IT'S TIME TO GIVE A LITTLE AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO COME BACK TO YOU JUST WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

I completely agree. I am completely grateful that no matter how tough things have gotten we have always had food for the kiddos. So I haven't had to worry about that. But yes I am soo proud of her .. she is my precious angel.
