10 days post op Really what to eat something
YOU'RE ALMOST THERE, MS CONNIE ... DON'T GIVE IN NOW!
I SWEAR, THE GIRLS ON THE OCTOBER BOARD WHO TAKE IT THE SLOWEST GETTING BACK TO REGULAR FOODS, SEEM TO ALWAYS DO BETTER OVERALL. THEY DON'T STRESS THEIR POUCHES WHILE IT IS HEALING. SO, KEEP YOUR CHIN UP & SWALLOW THOSE LIQUIDS LIKE THEY ARE THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD & WATCH THOSE SCALES GO DOWN, DOWN, DOWN.
LET US KNOW WHAT DOC SAYS ON THE 17th!
GOD BLESS YOU
DAWN & NICK

Hi Connie
We share the same re-birthday. I had my surgery on the 4th also. I too am just starting to really want something to eat, but I keep telling myself I didn't go through all this to blow it now. I am on a "pureed" food diet, but there isn't anything pureed that really appeals to me. Of course, we are allowed applesauce and yogurt and soups, so I have kinda lived off of those and protien drinks.
Keep in touch and we can compare notes as we go through this.
Susann
