Hey Tonya!!! I'm Leisa...pronounces Lisa... weird spelling. There are a few of us on here and last month we started a support group. Right now we are in the process of trying to determine a date for our 2nd meeting. I will let you know when we get it together. I am 9 months out and down 110 lbs. Got about 20 more to go. Hey Tonya, Welcome!! I live in Spartanburg and work in Greenville. I haven't had surgery yet, either...so we have a lot in common. I had the 2nd part of my pysc eval today....then I think it's off to insurance for approval. My doctor is Dr. Ross in Spartanburg (although I haven't actually had a surgical consult yet...I think they wait until insurance is approved). Leisa and I met up with Dawn and Allison last month and are trying to get something together for this month. Hope you can come and join us. Hugs Dianne

Hi Dianne , So glad to hear from you. There,s a lot of caring and sharing through this process and I'm loving it I pray that your insurance approval will be speedy...and that your wls date will come quickly too How was the psyc eval...long? I can't wait to start taking care of things I neeed to get closer to a wls surgery date. I would love to meet you all...let me know when you will be meeting...would love to attend. Im in campobello, SC i had Dr.ross as my surgeon feb 23rd 2004 down 222 lbs had tons of complications tho but oh so much better now.
