1-What is a reason you like talking to other SC ladies? I enjoy talking to others who live near me who may have had my surgeon, as well as the chance to meet other people in REAL LIFE who have gone through this. 2-Who am I --let's get deep ladies( as Oprah asked today on her show)?? I am a women who has been outgoing, friendly and filled with life trapped in an obese body for years. I am so thrilled to be gaining my spirit back and to have the energy for life I once had.

Answer These 1-What is a reason you like talking to other SC ladies? Being pre-op, I love hearing all the stories of the surgery - before and after. I get excited with your successes and feel for you (sending prayers) with the disappointments. And being in SC, like Heather said, we can see each other in REAL LIFE, and see the glow and excitement on everybody's face. It's support, but also the friendships that develop. 2-Who am I --let's get deep ladies( as Oprah asked today on her show)?? I, unlike Heather, am not particularly outgoing. I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and probably use that "excuse" to close myself off from people. My personal life has suffered because of this, but my professional life has not. I pour myself into work, because it's the one area of my life that I am very confident in, I'm very well thought of in the company and my weight doesn't factor into the quality of work that I do. I'm so ready to have the surgery to let the real me out of this body (been a while since I have seen her).

I like talking to other SC ladies because I can relate to them. It is so helpful to talk to people who have been where I am. Who am I? Well, I am a very overweight person who is ready to get back to living!!! See you on the losing side!!! Surgery is Friday - can't wait!!! Susann

I like to talk with people in my area who is going through or has been through the same things as myself...and being able to meet new people and make new friends.. 2-Who am I ....I am a mother of 2 teen boys and been married for 18 yrs... I am almost 2 yrs post op and so thankful to have the engery to get out and enjoy life again...I love shopping, camping, going to the beach, hanging out with hubby,spending time with my boys...Brenda

Wow Heather good questions. I like talking to other SC women, because talking to people in the same area it seems more real to me, and I can relate to the people of SC a little more. I am a 33 mom of 2 married to my wonderful husband of almost 2 years. He is deploying AGAIN today for a few weeks. I am 7 weeks post op and lost 40 pounds.
