Hey!! Where is everybody???

Okay. What is up with all the SC folks? Where is everybody? This is an official "call out"!!!! Jump on here and at least say hello? I see several new names and these new members need to know that we are all out here!! Plus I need some words of encouragement on resisting all the leftover Halloween candy that is floating around my office and calling my name!! Anybody out there?? Leisa

Hey Leisa Hope you are having a great week. Things are ok here. I'm down 71 lbs since 7/6/05. I feel great. I went to a fair on Sunday with my kids and I actually climb up a very big blow up slide and slid down it. It was fun. My kids laughed hysterically. About the candy. Can't help you there. With 3 kids at home, I have tons to try to avoid. Talk to you later. Wendy Fowler

Hey there...I am one of the newbies. I am Kelly from Lexington. I now have my RNY scheduled for January 10th. Hey Kelly! I am glad you joined us!! I was just feeling happy today and needed to be a little silly. February will be my one year anninversay and I cannot beleive how time has flown! It will be here before you know it! Have you joined up with Heather and some of the others in your area for a support group? We started one here in the upstate and had a ball at our first meeting. Did you get any trick or treaters last night? My husband and I both bought candy and then didn;t have any kids show up! I think he must have turned the lgiht off when I wasn't looking. Wow...one year...that is amazing. Can't wait to join you on the losing side!!!! I met Heather and Brenda for dinner the other night, it was very encouraging to see how well she was doing only being 4 weeks post op. And Brenda looks wonderful. They are fantastic ladies. We had a big night last night. We have two boys, 12 & 9 and they had a blast dressing up to trick or treat. Oldest was a hippie and youngest was a zombie . They were funny... Now, I have a house full of candy, yikes. Have a wonderful afternoon... --Kelly

Hey Leisa, I am one week and 1 day post-op got home thursday and just really started posting anything yesterday so here I am. I so understand the halloween candy my head tells me oh yummy look at the candy, but we didn't go through all this for the candy it was for us to be healthy bad candy and I love little candy bars. Hopefully I will get to meet ya at the next upstate meeting dawn is trying to figure out a date so everyone can go. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys. Marcey
