What LCBB means to me

You should all know by now that we have a very cool, very supportive, rocking group. But I wanted to thank each and every one of you for inviting me to join you all at LCBB. Its a very cool and great thing when you have women and men...know exactly what you are going through with Gastric Bypass. They know all the ins and outs, and are a incredible source of info, comedy, shoulders to listen on, sounding board...you name it. I for one am very grateful. I am grateful to Lori and Susann for starting the group, Susann for leading it. But I am most grateful for one particular LCBB'er. That would be Britt. Britt has been such a wonderful friend, kindred spirit, a dear, we have tons in common... and she has let me be part of her family. Her husband Ted and their girls, Ashleigh and Karson...well they are just too special and awesome. I am thankful for Britt for making my coming home to Charleston so nice, and now that I am found a best friend...I am very lucky too. So thanks to each and everyone of you for being the great "yous" that you all are. (*kate jumps off the mushy soabox now*) Hugs and Smooches, Kate

I Love You Too Man....LOL...If it wasn't for LCBB I wouldn't have met all these GREAT new friends and I am so thankful of that. I know that when Ted and I transfer bases (no news on that just when it happens) I know there will not be another group of friends like you guys. Just thanks for making this journey go as smooth as possible. Kate and I do have SOOOO mu*****ommon. Our pasts are simular, clothing style, and we work off each other in certain situations. My girls love her alot. Karson told Kate last night that she wanted her to stay with her while I went to Wal-Mart that she didn't want to go with me. Karson has traded me in on a new "virtual mom"...J/K. But again thanks to LCBB you know we ROCK!!!! Brittain

The Beavers. Are you talking about those Oregon State ones or the "special" beavers? Just want to make sure you and I are on the same page, because I have commentary about both of them. Kate

Kate....I think it is great that we all have something special to share with each other. I think we have a great variety of ages, personalities, etc. that can feed off of each other. I'm going to be the last to join you guys on the losing side and I can't tell you how much everyone's support to date has meant - and I know I will be leaning on you guys afterwards..... Susann
