OK Carbs - Columbia, SC!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked into this FANTASTIC Store today to find some sugar free chocolate for a dessert I am making for a Halloween party this Monday. Well, I have seen this store in my travels and wasn't too sure about it, WELL, I decided to step into it today, and I am soooo glad I did. I couldn't believe what I saw, it's a grocery store Dedicated to low carb, low calorie & fat, high protein items. The man that owns it walked me around the store and gave me free samples of everything, and I can't tell you how awesome this was. I tasted everything before I bought it so I knew exactly what I was getting. This store has everything, frozen items, baked goods, dessert items, low carb crackers and chips, cookies, pizza, bagels, drinks, pastas, baking mixes of all different kinds, syrups... anything you really can think of including fudge. I felt like I was home in this store, it was like a huge door opened up... I have options now...what a blessing... especially when you have cravings for pizza (like I have been) and macaroni and cheese (which the store has Several low carb box mixes to choose from!). I want SC to know that this store is fantastic and to give it a try. It's a store for all of us! YAY!! The store is called OK Carbs, it's located on Harbison Blvd in Columbia, next to the Outback Steakhouse. I hope this helps someone out there that may feel that they are stuck and are so limited in their options to eat. (I was feeling kinda stuck this week...) Luv - Shannon

Thanks for the information Shannon. I saw the store 2 wks ago, but didn't go in.. My daughter had done her fair share of shopping that day and I've yet to make it on that side of town. Glad to know that it might be a good option.

Hey Shannon, I went there a couple of weeks ago (last payday to be exact). I bought some achieva and nectar samples. I was so happy because I got to taste them before I had to buy a whole case. It is nice. I wish the owner was there when I went there. The person who was there wasn't as friendly as I would have liked.
