PRAISE THE LORD!!!

I just got off the phone with the oncologist's office, and the retest of my labwork is back - I am normal (never been so glad to be normal)!! I still have to follow up yearly with the labwork for any changes, but for now I don't have to worry about it!! So, now I can go to my psych appointment without that hanging over my head (it's at 1:30 today)...and continue on my wls journey. For a week now, I've wondered if I was still going to be able to have the surgery. Now, I can continue the process. Thanks for the prayers... Hugs, Dianne

Well, this "crazy" doctor's office makes you see like the rookie therapist first, then the real doctor a week later (except he's been on vacation so it will be on 11/14). But I am on a cancellation list, so maybe it will be sooner. Anyways, he said I wasn't crazy (except that little security/compulsive issue I have with needing a bag of M&M's with me when I'm driving....

) and that I should be fine for the surgery. Thanks for your prayers!! Dianne

Diane honey! That's great news! You'll be on the losing side before you know it! I can't wait either! The more the marrier. lol I'm so sorry I haven't been keeping up with this board but as you know I have my own board that requires my daily attention along with my kids and dh etc. I'd love to see you drop by my board too you know.
