It is amazing

how much this SC message board has grown!!! It was only a couple of months ago that you'd open up this site and the date from top to bottom would cover a span of a whole month or more!! Now it is just days with so many coming here. I am so happy to see some of the other areas of SC getting their own groups together. I email with a couple of ladies from Columbia, and they were envious of our get togethers, wishing they could join us, and now they are forming their own. This is soooooooooo cool. I must say, I enjoy being a leader, taking over, runnning the show, so to speak. I love talking and meeting others. It was so easy when Susann and I started this way back in June. It was just great to get together with someone else that experienced the same issues that I was going through. It's even more fun with so many at our lowcountry group, preops, post ops and very new post ops! What wonderful information and support everyone gives to each other, besides all the fun we have. Now on me, I have no clue where I will be in a year, do not even know if I will still have the same insurance. Unfortunately the insurance where I work excludes gastric bypass completely. This surgery may not be in my future, I do not know for sure. When I know, I will let everyone in on it, I promise. Right now am in a "pondering" stage and hope I will see what is in store for me soon. I appreciate everyone's support and friendship. I am going to skip the Thursday get togethers for the time being. It is hard for me to attend at this point. I am not worried about what I am going to do, and I appreciate you guys not asking me what I am going to do. I'll be on the boards to see how everyone is doing Love Lori

Lori I know how you are feeling. After the fiasco with Dr. Sabback's office not doing the surgeries, I didn't know what I was going to do. Just know even if you are not at the Thursday night meetings you are always in all our hearts.
