OK, I JUST GOT MY PRE-OP APPOINTMENT APPROVAL SO I WILL GO TO MUSC/DR BYRNE THURS, 10/20. I'M TAKING ALL THE SUPPLEMENTS + BIOTIN FOR MY HAIR. I'M ON A MODIFIED PRE-OP DIET. MY HIGH WEIGHT WAS 279 & I JUST WEIGHED 269.8 (STARK NAKED STANDING ON MY TIPPY TOES ) THIS MORNING SO I AM OUT OF THE 270s FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

Dawn: Have you started taking your vitamins? If so, which ones did you choose? Debra was talking about some all inclusive ones last Thursday night and I need to remember to ask her the name and where she got them again on Thursday. I take 2 chewable Flinstone vitamins a day now. I go to the doctor on 11/21 for blood work to see if I need anything else Wendy

I was glad I went. I wasn't going to go. I started working about 2 weeks ago and am still getting use to working after 7 years of not working. I am so glad we met. Hopefully I'll be there at MUSC. I know Jim won't go to that. That's not his thing. Wendy

I am so excited for you. I had my surgery on 9/30. This morning I was down 17 lbs. Dr. Byrne was so wonderful after the surgery. I was highly impressed that he did rounds Sat and Sun morning. His chief resident came by at 7:30 and said that she was covering and he might now be in on the weekend, which was fine. The nurses and residents were great. But low and behold, Dr. Byrne showed up each morning, listed carefully to all of my concerns and was just great. No wonder he has such a impressive reputation as a surgeon. Good luck to you!!! Mary
