Upstate Meeting

What an AWESOME time we had last night!!! I'm one who works at work, works at home, church activies, and sleeps....that's my life. So, meeting with these ladies was a wonderful, uplifting time for ME. It was a small little group, so we have lots of room to grow. I was so touched by Dawn and Allison's passion to help and support others (they even had gifts!!). Leisa is so inspirational with her WLS journey. Everybody was so supportive of each other. They had lots of WLS stories to tell, and I loved listening to all of them. I am so excited in knowing that I have this support group to lean on as my journey is just starting!! We are going to meet once a month (different places/cities), so I'm hoping that others will come and join us....you will be so glad if you do!!!

Hey Dianne, I'm glad you enjoyed it hopefully I will be able to come to the next one. Hopefully it will be on a night my husband is off work to keep my daughter. If the next one is in a month or so I will be a week or 2 post op. Looking forward to meeting you all I know dawn and Allison. I feel like support is a big part of this surgery so hopefully the small group will grow and we will all have tons of support. God Bless. Marcey

Dianne thanks for posting this I've been so busy getting ready for my in-laws from IL. to come today and I've had to really clean my house. I had a blast meeting you all and I think we all will just click. We really all did seem to get along great don't you think? Marcey we will definately have it on a day when your dh is off work and since I klnow his schedule it shouldn't be too hard to do. HUGS!
