Greenville area support group info.

Hey ladies, recently I brought up the subject of starting a support group and having us meet perhaps at a different restaurant each time. They will rotate between us all so that no one has to drive to the same town each time. Allison W. my weightloss buddy and partner in crime has come up with some really good ideas for us so I hope you will join us. One thing we are talking about is maybe meeting at each others home sometimes as well and each person bring a snack so that the person hosting will not be responsible for all the food, maybe they would only provide drinks. But for sure to start it off Allison and I will be giving out a goody bag and we may even have a drawing for something special. I think this will be so much fun and uplifting. We also will welcome meetings that will make us more beautiful and relaxed so if you sell, Avon, scented candles, bath salts etc. you will have the chance to use your host day for that. But we'll also have topics to cover along with the meetings but we want them to be a time of reflection, confession , relaxation, etc. I have a few names of interested people but if you are just learning of this write me and let me know your wanting to attend. We'd love to have you. Unless something comes up we are looking at Oct. 8th which is a Saturday evening, time to be determined later on. See you there, Dawn

Dawn, I think that meeting at someone's house is a great idea. That way if somebody is new (which I hope to be one day), they won't have the restaurant atmosphere to deal with. I'm pretty sure that I will be working on October 8th, so that evening will work out great for me. I live in Spartanburg and work in Greenville...so I will be in Greenville already that day. I'll just change clothes so hopefully I won't bring the doughnut smell with me!! Dianne

WE COULD BE "SISTER" (/BROTHER) GROUPS & MAYBE MEET ON A WEEKEND NOW & THEN SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN THE UPSTATE & THE LOWCOUNTRY! IT'D BE TOO COOL FOR OUR GROUPS TO GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER!
