skin rash
Hi Wendy,
I just got your email...thank you.
When I was having problems with rashes, I used Desitin (the diaper rash creme) and some cornstarch powder. I know that Johnson and Johnson (the baby product company) makes some. It has the green lettering on it. I used it all about 3 or 4 times a day.
I hope this helps.
Hugs,
Kate

Hi Wendy. I have had the same problem before. My doc said it was a type of yeast infection from the moisture that is trapped. She told me to make sure I keep it dry (I even slept with a washrag kinda wedged in the fold) and not to use baby powder on it. She gave me a prescription for a powder that I use whenever I start having problems.
Hope this helps and hope to see you Thursday night!

Hi Wendy -
I have used that extra tube of cream that comes with Monistat for yeast infections. Those rashes can be so painful. I have also put unscented kleenex and cloth between skin folds to keep things dry. Also, when the skin isn't inflamed, I apply deoderant every day. Since I started doing that a couple of years ago I haven't had any more problems with rashes. Hope you feel well enough to come on Thursday.

Hey Wendy! I have used the corn starch remedy and I have also used Lamisil (OTC). I got rashes like that when I was pregnant and thats what the Dr. prescribed me.
Also keep a record of your rashes for insurance approval for Plastic Surgery. That seems the only reason they pay for it.
See ya thursday I hope,
Britt
AS AWFUL AS IT SOUNDS MS WENDY, BE THANKFUL FOR THE RASHES IF YOU WANT INSURANCE TO PAY FOR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY. BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR DOCTOR KEEP A RECORD OF THE OUTBREAKS. IF IT'S NOT TOO PERSONAL, GET PICTURES WHEN YOU ARE REALLY BROKEN OUT. SOME INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL PAY FOR PLASTIC SURGERY IF THIS IS A RECURRING THING. YOU KEEP SOME KIND OF JOURNAL AS TO HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE OUTBREAKS, WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS & THE SEVERITY OF THE OUTBREAKS. THE MORE TIMES YOU GO TO YOUR DR OR CONTACT HIM/HER & HE/SHE NOTES IT IN YOUR MEDICAL RECORD, THE BETTER.
GOD BLESS
DAWN & NICK
