Hi Kate I live in Goose Creek. I go to church in Mt. Pleasant. I had my surgery on 7/6/05 and am down 62 lbs. There is a support group at Trident Hospital on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. There is also a support group at MUSC I believe on the third Thursday of the month. There is also a group of us ladies that meet on Thursdays at different restaurants in the north charleston area. Lori's Happier posts on here where and when the dinner is. Hope to meet you. Hey Kate! Welcome! I just read your profile..WOW!! You have done an outstanding job! You will have to post a current picture of you, so we can see how great you look now. I, for one, have not had surgery yet...actually not even a consult with the doctor. But I'm working on getting everything together for it. Hi Kate. Welcome to the Charleston area. I also live in Goose Creek and work in DT Charleston. I haven't made the MUSC support group meeting yet, but I went to the Trident one and it was great. I also try to make the Thursday dinners (it started out with just Lori's Happier and me and grew from there). Watch for posts as to when and we hope to see you there. Susann
