Hey Yall
NICK & I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER FOR YOU, MS BRITTAIN!!! WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN ... MUCH LESS OF YOU, THAT IS!!!
NICK KEPT CALLING ME THE DAY OF YOUR SURGERY TO SEE IF I HAD HEARD ANYTHING YET. I TOLD HIM I WAS AS EXCITED FOR YOU AS IF IT WERE MY OWN SURGERY.
I HAD THAT HAPPEN WHEN I HAD MY GB REMOVED; IT'S MOST PROBABLY AN ALLERGIC REACTION. REMOVE THE ADHESIVE & USE CORTISONE ON THE IRRITATED AREA. THEN REDRESS THE WOUND WITH A LARGE PIECE OF STERILE MEDICAL GUAZE & USE SOMETHING TO SECURE IT THAT YOU'VE USED BEFORE THAT DOESN'T BOTHER YOU. I HAD TO REVERT TO USING BANDAIDS AS IF THEY WERE TAPE TO SECURE THE MEDICAL GUAZE.
GOD BLESS FOR A QUICK RECOVERY ON THE LOSING SIDE DAWN & NICK
Hi Brittain
I hope that I will be able to meet you soon at dinner with Lori. I had the same problem when I had my surgery on 7/6. I got blisters where the bandaids where. I had my surgery laporscopic and had 7 incisions. I eventually just took off the bandaids.
Congrats on being on the losing side. The first couple of weeks can be difficult emotionally but it gets easier. If you have any questions please feel free to call or e-mail.
