medicaid and medicare

DO YA'LL KNOW A BARIATRIC SURGEON THAT EXCEPTS medicaid and medicare .. EVERONE I CALL SAY THAT THEY DONOT EXCEPT ..PLEASE IF YA'LL KNOW OF A DR. THAT DOES PLEASE LET ME KNOW.. I LIVE IN ORANGEBURG,SC ... I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO COLUMBIA OR CHARLESTON TO HAVE IT DONE THANK YOU RITA

Good Morning Rita. I am sorry I may not be much help. But not alot pf physicians are accepting Medicaid secondary to any insurance now, because of a change that happened several years ago. Maybe if you can get in with a Doctor and at your initial consult talk to them about accepting your Medicaid secondary, they may make an exception. Good Luck in your journey, Britt

hey Rita, i had surgery almost 4 months ago Dr Anderson in conway sc was my surgeon and my insurance was medicaid....hope this helps Debbie
