Calling all Carolina Girls (and Guys)!

Happy Wednesday everybody! I am on my lunch break and thought I would give a little shout out and see who is out there today! I am celebrating another 2lb drop today. Each one is more precious than the last because my rate is beginning to slow. (Only two lbs to the century club) I am also celebrating the fact that I feel like a healthy human! I am celebrating each encounter with someone I haven't seen in several months! I love watching their mouths drop open! You low country "Chaaaaalston" girls have the right idea on livening up this board. Keep up the good work! Come on midlands and up-state! Where are you? What are you celebrating today? Sure wish I could come to ya'lls support group!! We haven't quite formed one here in Beaufort, yet. I told the bariatric unit at the hospital that we needed to get people together NOW. Before we have surgery. She agreed but there are only a few of us scheduled in the next couple of months. I will hopefully meet the other two people at this months meeting. That's why I depend so much on this board. Thanks everyone!!

Thanks Leisa, we are trying hard to keep this going. I know there has to be ALOT more people in SC that has had WLS or is going to have it than the few that post on this Board. I am sooo excited about my surgery I can't hardly stand it. Keep on being the loser you are!!! Britt

hey there. this is Columbia shoutin out here---i'm celebrating that i saw my surgeon yesterday and all went well.. they seem to think that it will take 2 wks max for them to submit it to ins. and tricare to respond..and i could have my surgery at end of month..so i am almost elated to the point I can hardly understand it.!

CONGRATULATIONS MS HEATHER! I JUST WENT THROUGH MY ALL-DAY INITIAL APPOINTMENTS AT MUSC YESTERDAY ... PHSYC, MEDICAL, SURGEON, AFTER-CARE NURSES & NUTRICIAN. I HAVE TRI CARE AS WELL. DR BYRNE IS SCHEDULING FOR MID-OCT/EARLY NOV RIGHT NOW. I WAS SO EXCITED YESTERDAY ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT I WORE MYSELF OUT & "PASSED OUT" LAST NIGHT! FOUND YOUR WEB SITE ... WONDERFUL.
