Protein first week after surgery?

How did you guys get in your 60 grams of protein when you were on the clear liquid diet? Just curious. As you can see, I haven't had my nutrition class yet! Lori

Verrrrry carefully! Actually our clear liquid stage was so short that they didn't worry as much about 60 g of protein. There are protien supplimented jello's and liquid proteins that you can "shoot" like cough medicine or add them to water or broth. I had a very hard time finding one that I liked but it gets easier when you get to full liquids and can add milk and yogart. Good job on trying to boost the postings on this board. Keep it up!!
