Hello all!!!! I am back to work after summer vacation and the kids will be back tomorrow. Geez, it seems that we just got out and now we are going back. Just and update...Two weeks ago I developed severe stomach cramps and was literally doubled over in pain, throwing up everything. I went through severe cramps for two days. I called my bariatric coordinator who said that this was a sign of dehydration, b/c after GB we tend to dehydrate more especially during the summer. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Even now I am cramping as I sit here. I have been continually drinking. Just am unsure. we did have a lot of calls the week it was so hot with several hospitalized for dehydration but if you are still cramping you should be seen. it would not continue for more than 48hr.

Jeanie, wish I could help you out, but am still pre - op. Thank you for posting though. Being post op and posting your problems or issues, or just your thoughts makes such an impact on how I look at WLS as a whole. I realize it is not just about getting at or near goal, going through trials and tribulations to get you there, but it is a LIFETIME journey. I hope that you are over this quickly. Please post your results on this cramping, I would like to know what your doctor said. Oh,l I almost forgot!! Congratulations on such a wonderful accomplishment - 175 lbs! WOW Love Lori
