Morning Renee! WOW 104 lbs since March - fabulous I am hoping this board picks up as well. Did you go to the support group meeting this past Wed.? I didn't go, want to wait till I have my surgery to go to the next one. I attend two down here in Charleston right now. I am so impressed with your weight loss!! What do you do for exercise? Lori

Thanks so much for the kind words,I work hard at it,I am lucky because this is my full time job right now (ME) So I try to stay focused on this journey.I do a lot of swimming here at my home.I also walk,I hope to start doing some light weight training soon at the YMCA.When is your surgery? Hi there Renee! i can see dealing with WLS would be a full-time, life-long job! Yes, am using Dr. Strickland at Lexington. i called my insurance company and it is in review, but they only received the paperwork on August 5th, so I am still being patient LOL I shall keep your number and give you a call! No, I don't have an Angel yet in Columbia,,,volunteering? I haven't yet asked the office staff about it. Talk to you soon and keep up the great work!!! Lori

Hi Renee what a wonderful job you have done!!! You are right, sometimes we do just have to take care of ME. Congratulations. I am currently scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Byrne at MUSC on 9/14. Haven't received final insurance approval, so am keeping my fingers crossed . If I don't receive approval the first time, I am prepared to fight for my life (quite literally). Good Job Renee!! I am scheduled for my surgery on 9/12/05 with Dr Morgan at MUSC and am so excited. Keep up the good job . And I agree we need to keep this board going. Brittain

hi all! i am excited to say that i too am waiting ins. approval and would love to get a surgery date soon. there are many upcoming surgery dates too from whet i am reading. COOL! :>
