Hello Shay Well,as far as is there a better or a worse in MB. Mt husband and I always stay N.MB,we also until this yr have always vacation in Sep. this yr we went the week of the 4th of July and OMG!!! it was the best trop Id ever had at MB.The fireworks were wonderful and the whole vibe is sooo different that time of yr. I do have to say though, that Im not really sure if it was that different or I'm now different.I has my WLS in March and have lost 94lbs since.i feel different, not like I have to hde anymore from ppls stares. Are you going with your family> ei:kids, hubby? really depends what you are looking to do while in MB.Have you ever been there? N.MB is more laid back, out of the line of fire so to speak.your out of the traffic and crowds. What kind a place do you want to stay at? fancy alot to do resort or somewhere clean w/out all the glitz? we have stayed ay alot of the resorts there and at some just nice ,clean plain places also.So if you want you can give me some info and I can try to help you.MB is a wonderful close place to go for fun and relaxation. LOL...now I sound like a tour guid..Renee SC

Hello Renee, Thanks for taking the time to repond....I've never been to MB before. So I always try to visit a new beach each summer. However, it's just me and sweetie vacationing together (no kids)! I enjoy the beach sights (people, nightlife, boardwalk, shops, etc..) but @ the same time I want a nice & CLEAN reasonable place to relax with less hotel traffic..IF THAT MAKES SENSE..lol I would perfer Ocean front or Ocean view providing the prices is right...something with refrig. & micro or kitcehettes, pool on sights. So any suggestions or comments would be helpful...thanks!

Hey Shay,ok that gives me a better idea of what your looking for.It is me and sweetie also when we go,well we do take the occacinal free loaders sometimes,,,LOL.You can contact Coastal Condos, thats who we go through.Thr Tidemaster is a nice place, they have 1bdr condos,it's like a little apt. OC front and the have some side viwe(I only stay OC front) I figure I can stay at a hotel anywhere,so hubby spoils me when we stay at the beach...lol. Also there are alot of deals that they offer in MB.you can hook up with some free or really cheap accomodations, check with Blue/green resorts and Faifield...now you would have to go to a 1 1/2 hr seminar thingy...wich you may not want to do that...lol. They just take you on a tour and try to sell you timeshare...LOL we are all about saving a buck LOL. I know that probably sounds bad huh...oh well lol. I hope this helps and have a great time here..Renee SC

Hey Shay, I am not sure if you have taken vacation, but when my husband got home from Iraq we stayed at the Patricia Grand and it was an Ocean Front suite. www.patriciagrand.com Hope you enjoy it here. Charleston is beautiful too, we are about an hour and a half or so south of MB. With no family I would stay in MB to get the full effect, and shop at Broadway at the Beach. GREAT SHOPS!!!
