What to expect on first surgeon visit?

I have my first visit with Dr Byrne on August 11th- what all will happen? I thought it'd just be a visit with Dr Byrne himself and that's it, but now I'm thinking it'll be the psych visit and nutritionist visit and all that kind of stuff. Any ideas?? Rebecca

Rebecca, I can tell you that you will see him from 12-1pm with others and can ask him any questions you want. He will go over the surgery, complications, etc in that meeting. I saw him today. Dr. Morgan came in at 12:15 because Dr. Bryne was running late. He joined us sometime close to 1pm. He stayed answering questions till about 1:40. all of the other people in the room with me had seen him that morning, but I don't know exactly what is done that morning. I do know that the nutritionist will speak with you in another location, I think the Psy building, from 2-4pm that same afternoon. GOod luck! Where in Summerville? I leave near Pine Wood Prep Lori

Hi Rebecca. I have my first visit with Dr. Byrne on July 14th, so I'll let you know after than. Don't know if you have seen the posts, but we have been kinda trying to get our own support group together in this area.
