support group in charleston/berkeley county

Are there any support groups out there around charleston or the surrounding areas? I saw there is one every 3rd thrusday at musc, but there isn't anything any more regular than that???? I just had my surgery last friday in brunswick ga. I am in transition of moving up to wisconsin and decided to stay w/ family until i am able to travel but in the meantime i need to find a support group. There is a support group at Trident Hospital on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 am - 12 noon. Hope this helps Wendy Fowler

Colleen, There is also a support group in columbia, about 1 3/4 hrs away. It is on Wed. July 6th. I shall be going to that one. I also will attend the Trident one and the MUSC one. Do I need support or what??? Let me know if i can help at all. Lori
