OT: Folly Beach

I plan on being at Folly Beach in July and was just wondering how the renourishment of the beach has affected access to the beach around the pier. If anybody has any info please let me know. Thanks

Sorry, I haven't been to Folly in a while. We normally camp at James Island. In December, we rode to Folly and if I remember correctly, you can still access the beach at the pier.

We go fishing at the pier all the time and my girls go swimming. The only problem you will run into around the pier is parking. Go early!!

Thank you for the info. We will be staying at Charleston on the Beach so parking shouldn't be an issue for us. We really like Folly Beach, we used to go to Myrtle Beach but you cannot get around there for the crowds.

I am leaving for Myrtle tomorrow for a long weekend. We are staying at Ocean Lakes Campground at Surfside.
