It's a go

I saw the cardiologist yesterday. She said everything is a go. Gave me a note clearing me for surgery. I hand delivered the note to the surgeon. I have PAT's on 6/20, the filter put in on 6/23 and then surgery on 7/6. I have a question for anyone that had a filter put in. Where do they put the filter? How long is the surgery? Is it very painful? How long after surgery do you have to take it easy? Thanks for all your prayers and support Wendy Fowler
