Ok, My company is self insured, Premier-PPO, I have poured over the policy book and it looks like they will pay 85% of my surgery with a deductible of $1000 max for me to pay. Both of my local Drs. (Bauer and Rowitz) are approved providers. (yipee).....so my questions is about how much $$$ does it cost for the surgery? How much savings do I need to have avaliable to pay for WLS? I know my health is more important than cost, but I worry about how the to make ends meet with WLS and being out of work. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lisa

you will be asked to pay 15% of the surgeons cost and 15% of the hosp. cost plus the $1000 deductible if not already met. at our office that 15% would be $325.00 and the hosp. would be $2600.00. you can call the surgeons office and they should be able to give you an estimate.
