Upstate SC Support meeting

Hi everyone!!~~ I posted a while back to see if there were any members in upstate SC because I would like to start a support group there. I am origiannlay from Gaffney SC, but I live in Gastonia NC now. I am planning to move back to SC and I would like to start a monthly support group It would be for pre-ops post-ops and thier familys Kinda of an informal fun meeting. We have one in Gastonia now and it is a blast~! I really want to start another one~! We could have our own clothing exchange Door prizes Pot lucks and just have fun in general~! I would like to have it in Gaffney or surrounding areas~ come one come all you know... i'll do all the work, all you have to do is show up If anyone would be interested just reply here and we will start working on a time and place COME OUT LURKERS

Jamie how far is Gaffney from Piedmont?

I think that is a great idea! What day are we talking about? My Dr. has support groups but I am not able to attend due to my work schedule. Weekend/once a month would be great! Hi, Sounds great! I would love to come. I believe that has been one thing that I have been lacking. My Dr. is in Columbia, which is a 2 hr. drive so I haven't been to any of the support group meetings. Let me know when, and where. Angela Gibson

Jamie: Did you ever start that Upstate support group meeting? I just found this website and saw your email and a few responses...noticed they were from folks in the Greenville and Simpsonville area. I live in Easley SC and very much need a support group...the problem is that the only one I have found is provided by the surgeon in the Greenville area and only available to his patients. I moved here from Rock Hill, SC last year. Would love to become involved in a support group. Do you have any info on this for me??? email me at [email protected]. Thanks! Shirley
