GOT A DATE
Hi, Wendy! I had a Greenfield filter put in a week before my surgery. It is outpatient and there is no pain involved at all. You just need to take it easy for a couple of days afterward to allow it to "set". You'll do just fine!!!! Congrats on your surgery date - you'll be a loser soon!!!! Hugs, Connie
Hi, Wendy! I know there are different kinds of filters. I had an Opt-Ease Greenfield Filter and it cannot be removed - it's there for life. Who is your surgeon? I had Dr. Glen Strickland (and Dr. James Givens) at Lexington Medical Center. That's the only filter they use. Hope this helps!! Hugs, Connie
Wendy Wendy Wendy
I am soooooooo happy for you.
I have been thinking about you and sending positive happy energy your way for approval. I am glad that you have finally gotten the word. I know how excited you are. I remember how I felt when I got the word.
I did not have to get a filter put in, so I can't help you with that but I'm sure someone on here will. If you don't get any responses regarding the filter, go to the main message board.
Hope that things are going a little better in your household.
Hugs to you.
Nancy
