got a call from the surgeeon

I got a call from Dr. Strickland's office. My insurance company wanted to ask two questions. One if I have a family history of DVT. Because they were questioning the filter Dr. Strickland wants to put in. Well my father after heart bypass surgery in 94 had a blood clot break off in his leg and went to his lung. He died because of it. So she said that would probably be ok. The other was about the cardiologist. But that can't be answered until tomorrow. I have a stress test tomorrow. I have to leave my house around 6 am to be in Columbia by 8. The test is about 3 hours. Then I have to go back to the cardiologist at 2 pm to discuss the results. This day will be very long. I also asked the nurse if she thinks that there will be a problem getting approved. She said that she works with insurance companies everyday but my insurance she isn't familiar with. She did say that she doesn't see a problem. Hopefully I'll get a date soon. I need the good news because my adopted son had to be placed in a group home for now for safety and my husband is leaving again for the 4th time on 5/28. So a date would be very nice news. Good Luck Wendy. I hope you get a date soon. Sorry that your son is having problems. Let's hope that with counseling and living at the group home for a while will do him some good. What does your husband do that he has to travel so much?? Don't strain yourself with that stress test. Good Wishes Nancy
