Hi April, Sorry I don't know anything about the docs in Conway. But as Debbie posted above, use the "find a surgeon" feature at the top of the page. You will be able to find a doc or two in your area that way. Good Luck on your Journey. So far for me it has been an exciting one. Nancy Surgery on March 8th Can't Wait

Hello April and WELCOME!!!! My doctor is Dr. Balder from Conway, SC. I do think they accept Medicaid. Your first step should be to attend one of the seminars that they offer. You can contact their office and find out the dates of the seminars. I think they are twice a month. Talk to The bariatric coordinator, Sue Rudinicki. She will be able to assist you with your questions. Good Luck!!! Jeanie Hayes Post-op 10/12/04 Loss to date: 110 lbs

thank you... well when i talked to my pcp about the surgery he said he doesnt believe in it and it is kinda a let down and i know alot of family memebers that have done it already and they look great. i am just worried about my kids and my health. i do have type 2 diabetes, high cholestrol and with meds its under control but i forget to take them at times.. i have 3 children and my husband says its up to me if i do this or not. im just afraid and scared i guess. i have had 3 c-sections and my gall bladder out already and im only 26yrs old... just wondering if i can handle another surgery..
