About to give up

My insurance stinks. I got a bill in the mail today from my PCP. He isn't in my network so I'm responsible for the bill. I thought he was in network. His partner is. We called the insurance company. I can only see this one doctor in this practice. I thought that if the one doctor was covered I assumed that his partners would be. I had an appointment for tomorrow 3/2/05 for an echocardiogram and breathing tests, but had to cancel because the same problem. The lung doctor in this office is covered but the insurance company doesn't know if the person doing the test tomorrow (which by the way is in the same practice as the lung doctor which is covered) is under network. Well anyway, I gotta run. Thinking about all this is getting me way way down. Thanks for listening. Wendy

Wendy, Sorry you are coming up against so many obstacles. Don't be so ready to give up though. Fight for what you need. There has got to be a way that this can work for you.
