Yah im so excited. I finally got the nerve to ask my doctor if he thinks i should have wls. To my suprise he said yes, not only yes but another patient of his had the surgery and lost 200lbs+ and is doing great. Honestly I didnt think he would say yes. Now the only thing im waiting for is to get insurance because i lost coverage back im november. Doc said when i get the insurance he'd send me to get some tests done.

That is great news, Latasha I remember the feeling when I taked to my PCP about WLS. He actually told me that he had seen some folks that did quite well after surgery but he didn't know enough about it to tell me "NO". He suggested that I do my research and if I felt comfortable...Go for it! Congratulations on your first step! May the rest of your journey be as smooth! Leisa
