I can't believe it!!

I got approved 2 weeks to the day of my first consult. I can't believe it. No hassles at all. Waaaaa-hoooooo!!!! I'm so excited. I've got a date too. March 8th. Yippeee Ya-hooo-wee Wowzers!!! This is me, Nancy

I'm so happy for you Nancy. I had my consult on Feb. 10th and I hope I get approved as quickly as you did. Didn't you say you had MUSC options too? Did you have to call them at all? Also, did they make you have a 6 month Dr. supervised documented diet within the past year? I'm trying to get on Companions website to see if they even have the request in yet but for some reason the "Authorization" page and the "Claims Sttatus" page won't come up. I can't even get my bank page up tonight. I truly am happy for you and hope I have the same results with the insurance company that you did!

Hey Patti, Nice to talk with you again. I met you at the mandatory diet instruction class. I got all my info together regarding diet and exercise. I even wrote a letter to the insurance company (I did not mail it). I faxed all this to Joyce on Wednesday afternoon. She called me back on Thursday and thanked me for the extra info, but said that it was not necessary as I had already been approved. She had already submitted my paperwork the same Wednesday that I sent my extra info, but I did not know that. Keep checking the insurance website. That is how I found out that my paperwork had been submitted and how I found out I had been approved. Joyce called me an hour after I had read my approval online. Yes, I have MUSC Options. I have the feeling that yours will be approved without any problems either. How did your consult go? How did you like the meeting afterward? Let's keep in touch. Nancy
