Plastic surgeon in South Carolina that accepts medicaid

Hi: Iam looking for a plastic surgeon in South Carolina who will accept medicaid. I need my thighs and breast lifted, I lost over 200lbs but I fel like I am carrying around 2 extra people with all the excess skin. In advance thanks for your help!!!! Angela

Angela, Don't know if any plastic surgeons will accept your coverage, but you could also try the Red Cross. I have heard that they will take off the excess skin and not charge you, because they use it for burn victims. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Please make sure you research things that sound to good to be true. While donation skin to burn patients is a wonderful sentiment, it's not an option for WLS patients. Our skin is no good to us, so its definitely of no use to burn patients. The elasticity is shot to hell, obviously. Do an internet search, you will find articles explaining why it is not done.
