Seeing Dr. Saaback on 1/14/05
Dr Sabback is awesome...if you want to ask any questions...I would be happy to try and answer or help. He did my surgery on Aug 3 2004 and as of Jan 3 I am 100 pounds less, and I am an amputee in a wheelchair, so I couldnt walk for exercise. He's a great doctor and has been doing the surgery for 27 years and perfects it as he goes along using the latest technology.

Hi, Everbody!
I saw Dr. Sabback this week, too. He's very blunt, but I like that about him, too. Plus, my surgery (if approved) will be revision surgery from a VBG in 1988. I'm almost back to the weight that I started when I had the first surgery. I am terrified, but feel like a walking time bomb now. Well, a slow-ticking one because carrying all of this weight drains me!! I just KNOW that if I have this revision, I will definitely take care of myself this time. Something about turning 40 this year.....Has anyone out there that's been to Dr. Sabback had revision surgery? He said that he does about 1 a month. With all of the additional risks involved, I need to hear something positive!!! Thanks and good luck to all!!!
