Hi, I am new to the board, I am approved for surgery with Dr.Tribble, has anybody else gone through this clinic. Also, what are the chances of being disapproved at the last minute by the insurance company once already approved? I read that has happened to some people! I have Tricare/Humana, thanks, Darlene

Darlene, welcome! I'm Amy and i had the surgery on October 13, 2004. It is seldom that I hear about insurance changing their decision to pay for the surgery. Hi Amy, Thank you for writing back! I went to the MSN GB support group and there is where I read a great deal of people saying they had their insurance change the mind at the last minute, but there is probably more to the story! I'm glad that you have not heard of that happening! darlene

Hello Darlene.... I had my surgery Wed will be a Year.. I went to Dr. Tribble... I think he is a great Doctor... I love Judy she is a great lady... You can call her anytime you need her.... I have been very pleased with their program... when I started going their they were just getting the program up and going.. I think if you have already been approved you should be fine.. I have never read where insurance changed their minds after they approved someone... I have been on this board for over a year now.... Hey, My dr. was Dr. *****ett. I never have seen Dr. Tribble but I know everyone talks very highly of him. They are in the group together. My surgery was Nov. 30, '04 and I am a "WL surgery poster child". I have done well, no problems whatsoever. I see dr. *****ett tomorrow for a check up (am excited about getting weighed).
