Recommend Dr. for Arm lift and Tummy Tuck???

Hi, anyone have a great Dr. to recomend for a arm lift and a tummy tuck? Also, does anyone know about how much these procedures will cost?? and has anyone had any luck with getting Blue Cross Blue Shield State Health Plan of SC to pay for any of it? I still have about 6 months before I would wont to do either of these procedures, but I thought as long as it took to get everything togethor for my RNY I better go ahead and start looking into this now. Hello Angela... I hope you had a great Christmas.. I also have Blue cross Blue shield state plan.. I have had my arms done and a breast lift... I also have been approved to have my tummy tuck and a thigh lift... the insurance has approved all of these procedures... I had the arms and a breast done the day before thanksgiving and i have done great... I am scheduled to have my tummy tuck January 11th.. I went to see Dr.Donen Davis he is a great doctor... Brenda, what did you say to BCBS to get them to approve the tucks and lifts? I thought they would not approve any cosmetic stuff. Good for you for getting them done....and even better for you to have lost so much that you needed it!! Congrats!

Hello Louisa... I have lost 160 pounds so far.. I am not sure what all my doctor put in my paper work but it was approved without a problem.. Maybe it was my pictures .. maybe they felt sorry for me..lol. I am just thankful it was approved because i really need to have these things done my insurance says it has to be medically needed... I have not had any skin removed at this time. Dr. SUber ( Greenville SC) came to my support group and did a presentation. He had some of his patients at the meeting and they looke great. They were all very please with him. I am hopping to have some done in the next year. I have lost 279 lbs but I would like to lose about another 80 pounds before doing any tucking. GOOD LUCK!
