PRE-OP APPT. AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO ASK??????

Hi Caryn,
First of all, congratulations! Who is doing your surgery?
You don't need a lot of things at the hospital. A robe, slippers, something to read. The only thing I regret not having is a wooden spoon and baby wipes. After surgery, it is difficult to cleanse yourself after going to the bathroom. A baby wipe wrapped around a long-handled wooden spoon works very well. I saw this tip posted after my surgery, but I did use it after I got home.
Best of luck.

Caryn,
I've done very well. My surgery date was 8/2/04, and I've lost 77 lbs!. I feel so much better. I don't have to take a nap on Sunday afternoon (but I still like to). I wear smaller clothing than I've worn since before I became pregnant with my now 16-year-old daughter. I LOVE shopping now. I try not to buy too much because my size changes so quickly. I feel like a new woman.
