Fill Doctors in SC???

I had surgery in Mexico and wondered if any of you know if there are any doctors in SC that do Lapband and would do my fills? I would so greatly appricate any information. Thank you Debi

Never mind I found one in Concord NC only a hour or so from my house!! Great price to! Dr. Roc W. Bauman, only charges a $87.00 set up visit then only $200.00 for fills or $480.00 with fluro. Not a bad price!

And you will love Dr. Bauman - he is my surgeon. I will be having GB surgery on October 27th. He is a great Doctor! How did your surgery go? How are you feeling?

I am doing great!!! I had Lapband done on Sept 23rd. As of that date I have lost 17 lbs. Pretty good weight loss for less then 2 weeks! ( be 2 weeks tomorrow) I have tons of energy, healing process is going wonderful, and I could not be happier!! I have heard of Dr. Bauman and heard he is a nice doctor, I am happy he will see Mexican patients. I so want a doctor close by incase of emerg. ! Not to mention its nice that his price for fills is not out the door like so many American doctors I have read about!! He is only 70 miles from my home, so a very easy trip to do for fills. Much cheaper then going to Mexico and plus the benifit of having a doctor close by!

What the heck are fills?

Lapband is much different from RNY, you have a port underneath your skin that is injected with salin which tightens the band tighter around your pouch. Each person differes as to how many fills they may need over a period of time. Also the type of band that was used determins how much of a fill and how many. The best part about the band to me is that it is adjustable, not like RNY where you have no control over the size of your pouch, not to mention Lapband is reversable where RNY is not. With the band unfilled you still keep some small type of restriction, but once it is filled you can even more.
