NAUSEA AND UPSET STOMACH

I am now 7 weeks post-op and have nausea and upset stomach 24 hours a day 7 days a week since having the surgery, does this ever go away...I am on Zofran and Pepto. Its so bad that I cant eat or drink-- I still have the feeding tube in me, so I can hydrate myself with fluids thru it. If I do try to eat something, and I get it down...I fight myself not to throw up, and then within 20 minutes or so, I am on the toilet. People have said this can last up to 3 months or so....(the nausea) but has anyone had it his bad to where they just cant eat or drink ? My Mom keeps saying Im going to die from starvation. She tries to force me to eat and then she gets mad when I cant. I do take vitamins. But the Trinsicon makes me very ill also. I bought protien powder from Unjury (unflavored) and tried it..and it makes me sick too. I am lactose intolerant since the surgery- and the Carnation instant breakfast makes me ill too. Will this go away ?? And, yes I have contacted my surgeon...he is the one who said to do the pepto. I was in the hosp. for a month and they did upper GI and lower GI and all sorts of tests and found nothing ( I was already nauseated then everyday).

Denise, I'm sorry to hear that you're having so many problems, but I am glad to know that you got to have WLS. I live in Beaufort also. Dr. Brynes at MUSC did my surgery in March and I've not had any problems so far. Here'd wishing you good luck and God bless. Edie F
