Looking for a support group...

I live in York, SC - but I work in Fort Mill. I am looking for a support group somewhere around the Rock Hill, Fort Mill, or York area. I finally met with my surgeon. Dr. Bauman is great - I would recommend him to anyone! Hoping to have my date scheduled before the end of the year. Just waiting on Insurance approval!

Jolene, I think there is a group that meets at the Piedmot Hospital but not postive. I have heard they have support meetings there or something. Dr. Bauman should be able to help you with this I think or just call the Hospital. I live in Chester and wish we had a support group to. I am going to Mexico to have my surgery but might go to Bauman for my aftercare. Good luck, let me know if you learn anything!

Jolene, there is a Chester Support group. Call the Case Management nurse at Chester hospital and she should be able to tell you when. Robin Jarvis

The support group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wed each month in the Women's Tower Auditoriem and 7pm. There is a meeting tonight. Please try to attend. Everyone is welcome, no matter what type of surgery you had. Robin Jarvis
