REGRET HAVING SURGERY
Well as some may know i had many complications 2 xtra surgeries within 2 months after my lap RNY 6 months ago and just got home today from my 9th hospital stay due to vomiting again this time i was in 10 days well this has lead to me losing huge amounts of muscle mass i can no longer walk more then length of my house and i cannot go up stairs of any kind so im basically home bound today just to get in the house i got one leg to move onto stair then hubby had to lift other leg up each stair as we went along and we only have 2 of them ( stairs ) im at my wits end getting into car the nurse had to lift my legs into it because i couldnt i have no strength left in them and to top it off all the fluid they gave me in hospital plus a central line put into my neck to feed me intrevenously made me gain over 20 lbs in my legs and feet so they are swollen to the max. After all i have been thru i was still trying to remain posative but now im almost crippled when it comes to walking i cannot grocery shop walk up stairs, go anywhere with my family things i could do when i was 382 lbs now i cannot do after losing 129 lbs so far everyone says it will get better heck its been 6 months and im suffering worse now then when i was 382 lbs life sure has not been good to me lately. Sorry to be such a downer i wish everyone who is having surgery all the best this is not the normal thing that happens to those who have surgery even tho complications can occur they usually are not this extreme and this surgery has saved many lives just hope i can be saved one day.

Cindy: So sorry to hear of your recent hospitalization. I wrote 2x on your other e-mail earlier, but hope you will receive this one. What does the doctor attribute your problems to? My husband has a distant family member who has had similar problems related to vitamin deficiency and depletion and her symptoms sound remarkably like what you described. You'll be in my thoughts for a prompt and complete recovery. Take care. Pam Kaplan, Sptbg
