Out of hospital!

Hello. I was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. Feelin' better since I got out. Really weak overall -- mostly headaches and my backpains -- but they are improving little by little. The surgery want routine -- woke up not feeling anything about the stomach area but major back pains. First day was pretty good. Did well walking. 2nd day turned crappy but I dealt with it. 3rd day was just blah -- I wanted to get out of the hospital. Dr Bour released me yesterday about 2pm. Doing the best I can with my clear liquid diet until my appointment this coming Thursday. Will progress from there. I just wanted to update everyone -- I came back to a lot of support from my AMOS family -- Thanks to all of you. Especially Shannon! I will be back up and volunteering on here as soon as I get some more energy to. Leigh Ann

Congratulations!!! It will get easier everyday. I am like you I had more back pain than stomach pain. My back hurt for the first week. When I came home I put a heating pad on it and it helped. I know you are weak and tired it takes a while for your body to heal, but you will feel better when you do walk some, but don't over do it. I'm glad to here that everything went well. Glad to hear you are home! Just take it day by day and do the best you can with taking in your liquids. I remember there were days that I just didn't want to drink anything at all! Denise
