Vacation in Myrtle Beach

Hi Everyone- I just wanted to share this with you. My name is Patti Liszewski and I am now almost 9 months post op. I have lost 85 lbs so far. My husband is 3 months post op and he has lost 70 lbs. I have always, throughout my adult life, wanted to vacation in Myrtle Beach and this year I am finally getting my dream come true! I knew I would never be able to walk that long being as heavy as I was, neither could my husband. This year we can!!! We will be visiting your wonderful state on Sept 11 thru the 16th and vacationing at the Sea Mist resort along with our 9yr old daughter. We are driving from Michigan and stopping in Charleston, WV on the way and The Great Smokies on the way back. I can't wait...I am soooo looking forward to this! Patti

Patti, Congrats on you and your husband's success!!!! Keep up the good work!! You will love Myrtle Beach!! I live about 4 hours from there - but my oldest child (Adam) lives there. He's 23 and single and living at the beach - how bad is that?!? Have a great time - and if you like Thai food, go to The Loyal Thai on Main Street. My son is the chef!! Hugs, Connie

Hi Patti, Our surgery dates are so close and since I live 15 minutes from the beach I just had to post to you. I had my surgery on 10/22/2003 and I am at goal now after losing 130 lbs. Patti, You are going to have a great time!!!!!! I was there in June and it was wonderful to be able to take a long walk on the beach. The year before I was unable to do that because my back would hurt sooo bad. Broadway at the beach is alot of fun at night!!!!
