Hi, I love to cook, and I would like to find a good cookbook for after my surgery. I really wont one with good country cooking in it adapted to be low carb and low sugar. Any suggestions?? I'm trying to put togethor a new recipe book for me to use after my surgery. I am also hoping this will keep me busy until June 23, my surgery date. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!! Debra, You dont have long at all until you have your surgery. i know you are excited!! I have found a website called www.Eatinghealthyforlife.com they have a cookbook wrote by someone who has had the Gastric Bypass. The recipes look good. I will let you know of more cookbooks as I find out about them. I am on a mission so I will find more. I do not wont to become bored or unprepared with my food choices after surgery. So, I will do my hunting now. I will talk to you later. Bye, Angela

Angela, I am also interested in good cookbooks for the post-op. I do not know of any right now but you could try going to the receipe forum on here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/amosforums/recipe/ You can get some receipes from there and someone may know of a good cookbook. Leigh Ann
