I would like some info...

I just recently changed jobs, and I found out my new insurance may cover WLS. If anyone could recommend a PCP and surgeon who does gastric banding in my area I would appreciate it. I live in York, SC and Charlotte and the surrounding areas are within my travel range. My GYN and my family doctor both think that "natural weight loss is the only way!" I am 24 years old, around 5'5", 265lbs. I have made up my mind that I want to have the surgery, but I just need to know where to start. Thanks for all your help!!!

Jolene, I can not suggest anyone to you in that area. I am in Dr. Bour's program. Which is an excellent one. If you would be willing to drive to Greenville, I would highly recommend him. I hope all works out well for you. I am here for support. Good Luck with your journey! Leigh Ann
