May 4th is the DATE !! NEWBIE in NEED OF SC FRIENDS :)

Hey guys ! Insurance ROCKS !! They approved my surgery in 6 days !! I have a definite date of May 4th and love to be a member of the MAYBOARD (distant cousin of the MAYFLOWER) LOL !! We are all searching for a LIFE ANEW in a WHOLE NEW WORLD like our *cousins* the MAYFLOWERS were many years ago ! Here is to US and OUR JOURNEY ...to GOD and DR BYRNE who is offering us the chance of a lifetime for us to even HAVE A LIFE !! I look forward to keeping in touch with you guys ..now that I have found this board !! If anyone is having surgery around the 4th ..email me so we can be "WALKING HALL BUDDIES" ...I live in Lexington SC (outside of Columbia) so I don't know too many people from the area so any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated ! Hi Kathryn, Congratulations on your approval. I've already had the surgery-8-01-03, but wanted to let you know that I live in the Charleston area and may be able to help you out while you are here. I grew up in the Columbia area. Spring Valley High School, class of '82. I work at The Vitamin Shoppe down here and know that there is also one located on Harbison Drive past Columbiana Center. They have a bunch of protein options including Nectars. The Isopure 20 oz pre-made drinks are good as well. I love the melon apple. makes you pucker though. lol.
