Dr. needed for psychologist evaluation in Greenville/Spartanburg Area

Hi! I live in Campobello SC ( close to Greenville/Spartanburg Area) I am going to have my surgery with Dr.Strickland in Columbia. I need to find a Dr. here close by to do my psychologist evaluation. Does anyone know the name and number of a good one? Also. how much should I expect to spend on this evaluation? Thanks for your responses. Angela

Hello Angela, Dr. strickland of columbia sc is going to be my surgeon as well. I live in augusta ga and use bcbs also. I went to bcbs.com website to find a psychologist thats in-network so that all i had to pay was my co-pay of $15. Here is the steps if you would like....... 1. go to bcbs.com 2.put in your zip code 3.click on other health professionals in the drop down box 4. click on specialty 5. click on psychologist.......This well hopefully give you a long list to choose from. I called them first and made sure they do the evaluation for the gastric bypass surgery before i made the appointment. hope this helps!
